Indiana Chapter of Black Deaf Advocates was honored with this award for their exceptional services in 2022-2023 to the Indiana Deaf community at the 2023 NBDA Conference in Birmingham, Alabama. Chapter President Marissa Babineaux graciously accepted the award on behalf of the organization.

Facilitating Opportunities for Cultural Enrichment

At Indiana Chapter of Black Deaf Advocates, we believe that cultural enrichment is a crucial aspect of improving the overall lives of Black Deaf individuals. Through our network of resources and programs, we strive to provide opportunities for cultural enrichment, such as employment opportunities and mentoring programs for youth and minority American Sign Language – English interpreters.

At Indiana Chapter of Black Deaf Advocates, we believe in the power of mentorship to empower and uplift our community. Through these programs, we aim to provide support, guidance, and opportunities for personal and professional development.
